I attended an event which a friend was taking part in, he was playing in a band which accompanies a local Morris dance side ( troupe).
I took a number of photographs at the event and was inspired to create a painting, I decided to give it to my friend and this led to my first commission, from another member of the side who liked the image.
The commission was to paint a couple and their dog, I produced a similar format to my friends painting including them centrally, luckily they loved it.
Other commissions have also led on from this early opportunity.
